Since I started going to church, Wesley Methodist Church, I noticed that the dominating language at church is Xhosa and Sesotho. I struggled with isiXhosa for a couple of weeks, but I'm understanding it bit by bit.
I even downloaded the Xhosa bible for my BB :), Xhosa is a beautiful language indeed.
This morning I opened my emails and read one email from Joel Osteen's Ministry (as per usual); the opening scripture is Matthew 7 verse 7
[ King James]:
"Ask, and it shall be given to you;
seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you"
[New Living Translation]: "Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you" [The isiXhosa bible says:] "Celani, nophiwa; funani, nofumana; nkqonkqozani, novulelwa" |
[Sesotho bible says:]
"Kopang, mme le tla newa;
batlang, mme le tla fumana;
kokotang, mme le tla bulelwa"
This scripture has blessed me for the day.

I thank God for the type of body that I have. Media has really messed up people's mind about what body shape and size is 'beautiful/normal' [implicitly and explicitly]. I'm truly grateful that I don't have such insecurities, I'm a size 28, and the last time I checked i weighed 48ish but I fluctuate, so sometimes my jeans or shorts don't fit. I am FOR 'Team Skinny', but also FOR 'Team Healthy'. Skinny does not mean one is healthy.
Like Noluthando always says "zithande tuu"
Love yourself ;)

The Beginning of Second Term...
I could not wake up this morning, it is cold and my body is not used to being up at 6 o clock in the morning anymore. Anyway, as this term begins, I, like everybody else want to become more productive and to focus more on my goals [short term and long term]. This has become cliche but I have to become more productive then the previous term, like a ke na choice. I will make this happen!
"Stay a Mystery! Let 'em Swim In Speculation!" - @LuloCafe [he said this on Twitter, I love it]
Let's focus, mind our own business, work, pray and believe that we will make it!
Oh, and dress warmly...pneumonia is not cool or sexy ;)
